High End Systems is gearing up to exhibit its latest products on a dedicated stand at the upcoming Prolight + Sound trade show in Frankfurt. From 10-13 April, visitors can discover and explore a selection of products from the leading console and automated lighting manufacturer, in Hall 4.0 – D59.

The show will offer an opportunity for hands-on demos of a selection of High End’s Hog 4 family of lighting control consoles, designed for markets of all shapes and sizes – including Hog 4, Full Boar 4 and Road Hog 4. Visitors can also expect a surprise or two, and there will be a chance to see the new Hog 4 v.3.8.0 software, featuring a new desktop colour scheme called ‘stealth,’ and added external monitor/touchscreen capability for HedgeHog 4 console models.

A recent introduction to the Sola Series family of automated luminaires, SolaFrame 750 boasts a compact footprint but a huge feature set. A perfect fit for smaller to medium-sized venues, this fixture cuts through the competition with its 11,300 field lumens, 6–50 degree zoom, rotating gobo wheel plus fully continuous animation, and much more. SolaFrame 750 offers the widest array of effects currently available in a fixture of its size.

SolaFrame Theatre is the industry’s first automated LED luminaire to deliver completely silent operation. Engineered with no fans, it features a special high-CRI LED engine, delivers 15,000 field lumens, and features High End’s acclaimed full-frame shuttering system. SolaFrame Theatre is a natural fit for designers who work in television, film, theatre and other situations where fixture noise is simply not acceptable.

Added to the mix, also from the Sola Series of LED automated lighting fixtures, will be SolaWash 2000 and SolaSpot 1000. The flagship SolaWash 2000 luminaire uses a 600W Ultra-Brite LED source, multiple colour and effects systems, and an incredibly versatile zoom range, resulting in revolutionary new lighting looks. A 440W Ultra-Brite LED engine and specially designed optics allow the SolaSpot 1000 to boldly shine through the crowd, while the cutting edge rotating animation wheel, fixed gobo and colour wheels, CMY/CTO system, iris, frost, prism, and zoom create a cornucopia of lighting effects.

Attendees are invited to join the crowds at the High End stand on Wednesday 11 April at 5pm for the latest instalment of Hog Factor. The contest, recognised as the world’s premier academic lighting programming competition, will see four teams pitted against each other to win great prizes and the coveted Hog Factor Prolight Champion accolade. “We can’t wait to see what these lighting professionals of tomorrow have in store for us,” says Sarah Clausen, product manager for Hog consoles. “No doubt it’ll be a spectacle to behold!”

Meanwhile, welcoming visitors in Hall 3.0 – E51, E47 & F51 – you’ll find High End Systems’ parent company, ETC. There will be a wealth of products on display, including consoles, luminaires, power control, architectural control solutions and ETC Rigging equipment. ETC is also planning to unveil a few new products from several of its well-known collections.
