At this year’s Prolight and Sound exhibition in Frankfurt, MA Lighting will highlight the latest features and functionality of its range of lighting control solutions. The company will be showcasing version 1.3 of its dot2 series, featuring a host of new features – including web remote access, more master speed fader, increased effects functionality and high priority playbacks – that will allow users to work faster and more intuitively than before.

New software version 3.3 for MA Lighting’s grandMA2 lighting control solution will also illustrate numerous additional features and workflow updates – one major step in keeping the fixture libraries updated is the new online ‘MA Fixture Share’ which can be unlocked with the latest software. Another huge development is the fully re-worked partial show read functionality, as well as the new modes of DMX output function for the xPort Nodes, plus Offset for Pan/Tilt.

Furthermore, the MA VPU (Video Processing Unit) now has a completely reworked Warper functionality including pixel-exact U/V mapping and a snapshot / masking tools.

Hundreds of smaller improvements will also assist smoother workflow for the operator and programmer, making more time for creativity. Each grandMA2 demo-station at MA Lighting’s booth will be supported by a qualified MA Support Team member or an experienced user to answer any questions that visitors may have.

MA Lighting will also be demonstrating features such as link aggregation (LAG) functionality available in the MA Network Switch – the tool offers a simple solution for all types of networks, making network management easier for users without specialist networking experience, and is suitable for complex networks, permanent installations and temporary projects alike.

MA Lighting will be located at stands C51 and C61 in Hall 3.0.
