SGP: The Production People Ups Its Game News by ETA - March 20, 2016March 24, 2016 Sheldon with the A&L team and the Mythos The Production People (“TPP”) is a full-service technical production company providing premium quality audio, lighting and video equipment for all types of events. They take a no-compromise approach to their work and only use the best-in-class equipment. Along with a team of crew that knows how to use the gear to their full potential, the team focuses on exceeding expectation of their clients. With determination in building great relationship with their clients, they work hand-in-hand with them to deliver exceptional events that impresses each and every member of the audience. Some exceptional events that they have worked on would be The Podium Lounge F1 Party held in Ritz-Carlton Singapore and The Official Opening of China Cultural Centre in Singapore. Clay Paky’s Mythos To Illuminate Darkness TPP who had attended A&L’s Clay Paky Open House in Singapore took the opportunity in increasing their inventory with another 12 Clay Paky’s Mythos unit. The Mythos is a highly versatile and a highly advanced hybrid light. With a zoom range of 4° to 50° (Spotlight mode) and 2.5° aperture (Beam mode) it is truly a suitable fixture for various events. The Mythos comes with a CMY colour mixing and a spectacular 14 special colour filter, you can expect the wide variety of function these fixtures can do. 6 HQ dichroic rotating gobos and 18+1 fixed metal gobos, there should be no problem in choosing the right pattern for your function. Mythos has the brightness and ability to beam out a 160mm-diameter light and remains parallel for its entire length even at great distances. Sheldon Gooi, Director of TPP, commented,”With the increasing amount of lights on shows and the brightness of LED Screens, we needed something brighter than our existing inventory to cut through all the stage light. When I saw the Mythos at the launch, I immediately knew the future had arrived. Coupled with the excellent support we have received from Acoustic & Lighting for our existing inventory, I am confident this investment will propel our company to greater heights. With the addition of Mythos fixture in TPP inventory, TPP has a total of 100 Clay Paky product units consisting of Alpha Spot HPE700, Sharpy, Sharpy Wash 330, Aleda K10 Wash and now Mythos.” d&b Audio For Clear, Warm Coverage With Punch (L-R): Chad Batchelor of CAN who supplied the d&b audio systems with Sheldon Gooi TPP has expanded its audio inventory with 12 units of V8 three-way passive speakers, 4 units of V12 passive loudspeakers, 8 x V-SUB subwoofers, 4 units of J-INFRA cardiod infra subwoofers and 6 units of D80 amplifiers, adding to the already huge d&b Audio inventory in their arsenal. “We have been using d&b audio for about six years and I must highlight that across the entire product range there is no product that has failed to deliver. The end-user experience is always a positive response. For us the d&b audio solutions are well accepted and proven. Plus the local support and factory support is great,” said Sheldon. Sheldon adds, “Corporate events vary greatly. We felt that we were limited with our previous systems in terms of the type of venues that we can support but these new additions bring up our capabilities. In addition the technical crew at TPP are already familiar with d&b audio so it is a seamless experience for them.” The new d&b audio additions were purchased from local distributor, Consolidated Audio Networks (CAN). TPP Becomes First dLive Owner Supplied through local distributor Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd, TPP took delivery of the Allen & Heath dLive recently and became the first production company to own the system in Singapore. The purchase consisted of the S5000 surface complemented with a DM48 MixRack. “For us the dLive replaces our T112. It is a vast improvement in terms of the features and speed. The expandibility options are huge and amazing – it is future proof. To me it was a no-brainer in including the dLive as part of our inventory. Coupled with the excellent back-up and support from E&E, it was easy to go ahead with this purchase, after I had a chance to see the console in depth at the recent product launch in Singapore. We are confident that we will be able to maximize its features to the benefit of our clients” said Sheldon. A&H’s dLive has been creating a stir within the region since its introduction last year. Providing ultra-flexible architecture, a powerful FPGA processing core, a comprehensive array of expansion, control and networking options, plus the intuitive Harmony user interface with gesture control, means dLive is geared to applications from rigorous touring and festivals to installation in prestigious live venues. The dLive processing brain is housed in the MixRack, which uses the same processing engine, pioneered by the Allen & Heath R&D team using next generation FPGA technology. The 96k/96bit XCVI Core provides capacity for 128 inputs with full processing and 16 dedicated stereo FX returns, offering 160 inputs to mix, plus a fully configurable 64 mix bus architecture, with full processing on all 64 mix channels. dLive incorporates the DEEP processing portfolio of embedded plugins, including Graphic EQs, Compressors, Multiband Compressors and Dynamic EQs, alongside its 16 slot FX racks, featuring Allen & Heath’s acclaimed range of FX emulations. www.acousticlighting.com www.can.sg www.enepl.com.sg www.tpp.com.sg Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share
