Premier LED technology manufacturer Unilumin, played a pivotal role in the grand debut of the digital lakeside performance show “Xianghu Yayun,” at the scenic Xianghu Lake and Mountain Square in Hangzhou, China. The event, which was directed by Sha Xiaolan – the renowned creative mind behind the opening and closing ceremonies of the Asian Games – seamlessly blended cutting-edge technology with cultural expression. And central to this stunning performance were Unilumin’s F-M Series outdoor waterproof transparent screens, which delivered a visually immersive experience unlike any other.

The performance itself was a breathtaking display, featuring six movable water screens and twelve mobile stage screens. An almost 100-meter fountain water curtain played the perfect backdrop to intricate dance performances, as these various awe-inspiring elements created an extraordinary spectacle that left the audience spellbound – so much so that the show’s artistic and technological brilliance was widely acclaimed, with media giants like CCTV1 and Xinhua News Agency praising the performance for capturing the spirit of the Asian Games.

Sources affirm that Unilumin’s F-M Series screens were chosen to be at the heart of this visual marvel; mainly because these outdoor waterproof transparent screens are designed with encapsulated modules and plastic back covers that shield sensitive components from moisture, while their transparent structure prevents water accumulation. Offering dual-sided IP65 protection, these screens proved to be ideal for testing outdoor conditions like the one prevailing at “Xianghu Yayun”, while their lightweight design on the other hand (each unit weighing just 7.5 kg) afforded easy mobility.
