NAMM 2018: Adamson Leading Line Array Training News by Thomas Richard - January 16, 2018 The 2018 NAMM Show has amped up its focus on live sound and event technologies for 2018. In addition to being first-time exhibitors, Adamson Systems Engineering (located at booth #17305) will lead a training session as part of the inaugural AES@NAMM educational program. “As part of our commitment to ongoing education for our users, we’re excited to support the AES@NAMM Line Array Loudspeaker System Academy,” says Jeremiah Karni, Head of Education at Adamson, who will lead the session alongside Senior Applications Engineer Brian Fraser. “During the half-day courses comprised of software and practical hands-on sessions, we will give a comprehensive taste of our two-day Adamson Applied Certification training and share our many years of experience in the application of line arrays and the theoretical principles behind line array technology. This is a great opportunity to bolster people’s knowledge and skill sets and forge new professional connections.” The training will be broken down into two 90-minute sessions. The first is a classroom session that covers venue measurement and system design with the supporting software component, Blueprint AV, in an intimate and interactive setting. The second is a practical hands-on session that covers deployment of an S-Series array, touching on everything from “shooting the room” to rigging and wiring configurations using an actual flown array and culminating in a short listening session. In addition to the training session, Adamson will exhibit on The NAMM Show floor in the newly expanded north wing of the Anaheim Convention Center. Marc Bertrand, freshly appointed as Managing Director of Adamson Americas, will be onsite together with the rest of his team and key staff from the company’s Canadian headquarters. On display in Booth 17305 will be Adamson’s heralded S-Series of compact tour-grade loudspeakers, including the S10 two-way, full-range line array cabinet and complementary S119 subwoofer. S-Series products have been deployed on recent tours by top international artists including Sia, Imagine Dragons, Shawn Mendes, and many others. Also on display will be the new install-focused IS-Series, which packs Adamson’s tour-grade technology into sleek, architecturally friendly boxes with rugged and unobtrusive rigging solutions for integrators. “NAMM’s target to boost the live-performance audio presence beginning with this year’s show and its educational partnership with the Audio Engineering Society (AES) is very encouraging,” says Marc Weber, Director of Product and Brand Management at Adamson. “Our participation in the AES@NAMM Symposium complements our dedicated focus on training and education and we are very much looking forward to connecting with the NAMM attendees on the show floor.” adamsonsystems.com www.namm.org Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share
